so my dose of early TURBO fever is getting worse!!
Truth be told i am on a quest to obtain one of each year of the 3.0 litre cars 75-77,
so far i have fallen into a trio of 76-930 cars.
well today my first 77-930 arrived.. :)
ICE GREEN METALIC...
ALL stock including ride height.
first year of power assisted brakes.
green leather interior with plaid insert seats....
original owners manuals.
perhaps the coolest thing we found when going thru the car
was a dollar bill from 1977 folded up in the ashtray :)

Just back from WSIR - driving at the "horse thief mile"
i was out there filming with Le Mans winner Justin Bell for his
Worlds Fastest Car show.
he is doing a feature on the new 991 & invited me along to bring out my 42 year old 911 & compare the 2 back to back..
apart from being over 100 deg,it was a cool day...
in the dozen or so years i have been going to WSIR i had never driven "the horse thief mile"-its a tight steep & twisty 2nd & 3rd gear track with lots of elevation changes....
sure was fun...
we both got to drive & ride shot gun in the 2 cars !!'
Justin is an all round cool guy ......
with MAD CAR CONTROL SKILLS....
The new 991 C4S is great on the twisty little track,
it is nimble,has great grip & stability,shifts ,stops & sounds awesome right off the show room floor....
my 42 year old 911 did great also :)
